Christina M. DeMatteo

Christina M. DeMatteo has been practicing family law in Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1999. She has decades of experience in all areas of family law, including equitable distribution, alimony, alimony pendente lite, spousal support, child support, child custody and abuse matters.

Christina chose to practice family law with the understanding that her clients were often navigating the most difficult experience of their lives. Although it is often challenging work, she finds great reward in helping clients navigate from a place of uncertainty and upheaval toward clarity, stability, and a new future. Christina works closely with each client to understand their unique circumstances, concerns, and goals, recognizing that there is no “one size fits all” approach to family law. Her goal is to help individual clients identify the best path towards resolution of their matter, whether that means a negotiated resolution or an aggressively litigated one.

Christina handles a wide variety of family law cases, including complex custody matters and high net worth / high asset cases. She is both a seasoned litigator and a skilled negotiator. When a negotiated resolution of a matter is in her client’s best interests, she works with her clients throughout the negotiation process providing thoughtful guidance and advice. When litigation is necessary, Christina is a strong and experienced advocate who has the expertise and skills needed to effectively seek resolution through the courts.
