Kimber Schladweiler, Family Law Attorney

Kimber joined the Law Office of Christina M DeMatteo, LLC in 2025 to utilize her legal and professional skills to strategically and compassionately assist families and children navigate difficult situations. Her practice focuses exclusively on family law, an area to which she has been passionately devoted her entire career. A skilled, dedicated advocate, she works diligently to help clients reach favorable resolutions. She is an active member of the Mongomery and Pennsylvania Bar Association and their respective Family Law Sections.

Kimber graduated cum laude in 2004 from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she was a Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review. She spent a summer working for the Women’s and Child Advocacy Center in Philadelphia. She worked for more than seven years as a litigation attorney in Philadelphia, handling complex commercial cases in both state and federal courts involving a variety of legal issues including contracts, taxation, and insurance. She also provided pro bono representation to women and children through her work with the Support Center for Child Advocates and was twice awarded the Pro Bono Roll of Honor.

While practicing as an attorney, Kimber opened her own business, a retail gourmet store. When the business began to expand to additional locations, Kimber put her career as an attorney on pause to focus on the business. After building the business into a recognized name in the local region for gourmets and gift givers, in 2023, Kimber transferred her ownership in the business to her partner to return to her passion of the practice of law.

Kimber lives in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania with her husband, a partner at Greenberg Traurig LLC. She has two sons in college while her oldest has graduated. Kimber is actively involved in her community, serving as an elected local committee member, and volunteering at numerous local events.
