Lydia Terrill

Lydia Terrill has been practicing family law exclusively for over ten years. After receiving her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2014, Lydia spent over five years working as an associate at a family law firm in Montgomery County. In 2020, Lydia founded her own successful solo family law practice serving clients in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties, which she ran from 2020 until 2023, when she joined the Law Office of Christina M. DeMatteo, LLC.

Lydia has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for the years 2020-2024, a highly selective award given to just 2.5 percent of lawyers in Pennsylvania. Lydia is an active member of the Montgomery and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and serves as a GAL (guardian ad litem) for children in low or no-income child custody cases in Montgomery County.

Lydia’s practice is limited to family law, including the areas of divorce, equitable distribution, spousal support/alimony, child custody, child support, protection from abuse, and prenuptial/post-nuptial/cohabitation agreements. She prides herself on her ability to help clients find creative, efficient, amicable solutions to their family law matters, but when push comes to shove, she will fight tooth and nail for her clients in court when necessary.

Born and raised on the Main Line, Lydia and her husband currently live in Ambler, Pennsylvania, with their two children. Lydia enjoys staying involved in her community by volunteering at her children’s school or by attending Ambler community events. In her free time Lydia enjoys gardening with native plants, practicing yoga, and going for hikes in the Wissahickon.
